Cheaper and I didn't need the heart rate monitor,

These are just a few that i can think of so far.

Pros

Being able to see notifications on the watch and quickly reply without getting phone out

Voice making of reminders and notes

Bluetooth tethering has a bit of a distance, tested it while charging phone in front room and was at back door distance is about 20 or so metres

Calendar events appear on screen when just on watch face.

Cons

Battery only lasts just over a day (could be because Ive been using it lots to see what it can do)

Screen gets dirty quite easily

Thanks hardtailstar. I think I will wait for the moto 360. I suppose I could buy the LG or the sammy and then sell it when the moto 360 comes out if it gets good reviews...

Yeah, I don't particularly think it is the round face on the 360 I like so much as that the screen appears edge to edge. My wife says she would prefer the square ones on me but I think it would be so much better if you could reduce the size of the bezel to make it smaller and sit better on the wrist, or if it has to be big, then maximise the panel size to make full use of the estate available. I suppose I am describing a future model yet to be released.

tbh I haven't notice that the screen does not go edge to edge on my watch, but i do think if they reduce the bezel to the screen it would look strange. for the LG G watch.

Had my LG G watch just over a week now,

My earlier pros and cons still stand,

Ive noticed I dont use my phone as much now unless im in an environment i dont want people to hear me.

Its easy just to see notifications and dismiss them or reply, started installing third party apps like a calculator and the android wear mini launcher.

overall i am really liking it and will be buying another one in the future when the next gen or third gen come out.

Great feedback. How are you finding the battery life?

tbh when I go to bed its usually got about 50% left and I stick it on charge, ive not actually tried to see how long it lasts for yet.

Probably experiment over the weekend.

I forgot to charge one night, made it through the second work day OK. Died about 6PM.

Its actually useful, I don't need to get out my phone and unlock it all the time. Don't like the squareness, so will probably sell the LG when the 360 comes out.

Im ok with the squareness as im not a fan of the circular design of the moto 360,

Id agree and saying its useful.
