xibo weather

Hello, I have just started using Xibo and have a powerpoint video running on my page along with an rss feed from the bbc, I also display the time and date on a page but i would like to display the latest weather, could anyone tell me how to do this? I have tried putting rss feeds in but it doesnt display very well. Any ideas?

We just display the local Weather Underground page for our area. As our displays are 1080, it displays fairly well and is constantly up to date.

I do wish there was a better way, with larger text and bigger graphics that are more orientated around digital signage. I've been saying I'll look into using one of the providers API's to make a custom display for our screens, but I've yet to have time to do this.

 

In the old days, we used to have a Davis weather station on the roof - we used to display real time weather data for our site from that on our screens. That was really cool, it was a shame when it was destroyed - by the wind, somewhat ironically!
