Hello,

Firstly, HAP looks great and when we came across it we where very interested in setting up for our School. I have been following your video of setting up HAP v10 on WS2012R2 but I am having some trouble accessing the website once configured. I have setup a new WS2012R2 virtual server and installed IIS with all the roles and features required, configured HAP in IIS manager and the permissions required but when I try to open the website I get 'the page cannot be displayed'.Untitled.png

I have gone through the video several times to see if I have missed anything, even removed it and started again but I still get the same problem. Please can you offer any suggestions? I am really looking forward to looking into HAP further :)

Thanks

Yes, I have tried disabling the proxy server and a different browser. I haven't created an SSL certificate yet. That shouldn't stop it from displaying the page though, except for the usual SSL warning, but I just get page cannot be displayed.

Thanks

Hi Nick,

Sorry for the delay in replying. I haven't had much time on it over the last couple of days. I have re-installed HAP following your PDF instructions and setup the SSL certificate (by the way the SSL certificate isn't mentioned in the server 2012 video). The page now loads however not quite correctly: Untitled.png Do you know why this could be?

I noticed one difference between the server 2012 video and the PDF instructions which I was hoping you could clarify. For the App_data folder in the server 2012 video you give the HAP principle modify rights whereas in the PDF you give it read/write.

Thanks

Hi Nick,

Thanks for clarifying that and sorry again for the delay in reply. I have been looking at HAP again today and I am coming up against some problems during the initial setup. I have filled out the fields in each section I want to use but when I click save I am receiving errors (below). I am not sure what these mean, do you you have any ideas?

Also is there any guides for the initial setup?

Cheers
