Are you using ipp at all? OS X doesn't send the number of copies properly with it. If your printer can interperate the number of copies value then you will get too many. So if you use ipp and tell it to print 10 copies then OS X will send it 10 times *but* the document still contains the 10 copy value so your printer will also print each one 10 times. So you get the number of copies ^2

 

10.5 might have fixed it but I wouldn't hold my breath.

 

If you aren't using IPP then its something else, if you are use lpd instead.

It's a network printer which is connected to our CC3, drivers installed on our DC.

 

Works fine with the Windows machines. Having said that, a kid has just told me, it *sometimes* does it with him, but never with his mate..surely it can't be profile related?

 

I've check the ID 10 T assumption that copies = 1.
