Cablers_Andrew Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Hi I don't work in a school but have been documenting all my IT work for the last 5 years using a simple wiki, any will do. Best thing I ever did and wish I had started it 20 years ago! Best Regards Andrew Cablers Ltd
E_G_R2 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I've often wondered if someone has a good example of a template that they use to pull together things such as wiring diagrams, AD schema and inventories.
sted Posted June 20, 2014 Author Posted June 20, 2014 thats part of the problem what do i put in it into how much depth whbat is just not worth writing down how best to present it etc
Cablers_Andrew Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 This is why I like wikis, they are designed for storing documents, images and you can upload just about any file you want. I guess a windows based one with AD integration if you can find one would be nice in an education environment.
sparkeh Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I want to transfer everything to a wiki but can't come up with right structure, and I guess you need to get the structure of a wiki right first.
