Hello,

we are looking to recruit for the following role.

 

Campus MIS, Assessment and ICT Manager

 

The data/MIS aspect is the main part of the role but the successful candidate will be expected to have direct management responsibility for the exams functions and potentially a role in the management of our managed ICT provider (Yes the managed service does need managing !)

 

Leadership and people management experience/qualities are essential as we are a large dual school campus with over 2000 students and 500 staff. The post holder will need to manage many diverse priorities from a a range of sources and co-ordinate their own efforts with that of the immediate and wider teams.

May I add that this is a brilliant team to be a part of, including the wider business team in which you'll work. You can expect several trays of biscuits / curry per week most of the time, and some good inter-team banter.

If you mind me asking, this role was also advertised I think around 9 months ago, was the position ever filled then?

Yes it was filled by Mr michael2k6 who posted above. It was over a year ago and unfortunately the MIS provider we coaxed him off coaxed him back !

Why does nothing like this come up in Norfolk, I do most of this for a paltry £18k :-(

Scale is an important factor here - we are large campus with 2 discrete schools and the responsibility, accountability and impact of the team here is significantly more than I see in the vast majority of schools. If I could get someone with the skills to do this job for 18k they would not be with us for very long. In summary you will earn it and deserve it . . .
