RIS Issue

Hi there,

 

Little problem with RIS at the moment, we've been running a ghostcast server for ages, setting this one up has been no different than previous ones but for some reason this time the 4 machines im trying to boot from keep recieveing the error "no boot filename recieved"

 

its probably something silly ive overlooked, but RIS is installed, all services running, authorized as DHCP, no firewall on or something silly on the box, the box has nothing else installed on it yet

 

so anyone have any ideas?

 

also while im here can anyone tell me how to get RIS/ghostcast running over VLANs it only seems to work on its local section of the network which is why ive installed a second ghostcase server, any help greatly appreciated and would mean the top bit ^ wouldnt be needed
