installing thin client ????

hello guys,

i'm very happy to be one of geek with you . i just need to understand something if i need to convert an pc to be working as thin client how can i do that and what's the requirement for achieve that?

 

i've an iso file called (TS-5.2.2-Installer-0516) and install it on vmware workstation V9 but i don't know what else i'm very new for that and my relation of this solution like my knowledge in chines language :)

 

i need to install it as a test first on this vmware workstation so what i need to achieve that.

Why are you converting it?

 

What are you connecting your thin clients to?

 

You can download some software that replaces the windows explorer shell, so it just boots up and onnects directly to your thin client software, or you cna replace the whole OS on the PC.

thanks a lot achandler for your replay as you said in last replay i need the whole os on pc as i told before i've this version from thinstation (TS-5.2.2-Installer-0516) it's iso file i installed it on vmworkstation as a lab and i'll try to connect to virtual desktop (windows7) so how can i do that????

I haven't personally used thinstation. So I'm not fully know to be honest.

 

There are people who know alot more then me about it or will likely be more able to help you.
