Koldov Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Hi All, Wondered if someone could give me a quick answer on this? When the user tries to paste into an email in OWA it crashes (there is a problem... Has to close...), I did fix this a while ago and I can't remember how! I had tried loads of suggestions from Goooooogling and one just worked, but I was so relieved I didn't write it down anywhere. I'm not sure if it was an outdated IE, a setting that made the default paste plain text or some other suggestion... Anyone sorted this and can let me know off the top of their head quickly? My Google-fu is weak today K
Michael Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Try resetting IE to defaults and clearing the cache.
RichB Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 (edited) Interesting Read if you are using IE9? pasting into Office365 OWA causes OWA to crash and close | Email and calendar | Microsoft Office 365 Community Edited June 13, 2014 by RichB
Michael Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 If you're using Office 365's OWA, you should really be using IE10 or later, Chrome or FF as IE9 doesn't have a built in Spell Checker that Office 365 and other websites rely on.
Achandler Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Interestingly we had a member of staff who can't copy and paste in Office 365 when using webmail. using IE 10
Michael Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Every site I support, they use Office 365 and IE10 - it's a working formula, I know that much As I say, resetting the browser does fix a lot of issues but occasionally Microsoft do drop a clanger and break perfectly good browsers like IE9 for no good reason. I wouldn't mind, but some users are still using the likes of Windows Vista and that only supports IE9 at most.
