What is the location SIMS should be getting installed to? I've heard numerous reports of certain components not working if you install it in (x86) and other reports of things not working if you install it in just Program Files.

Anyone got the definitive answer?

I install it to (x86) on 64bit machines and don't have any issues with it. FMS on the other hand just needs a symlink making so it works fine.

You can install SIMS in either one, I have not come across any SIM .net issues if you do.

I would however recommend that you keep it the same across all workstations to avoid any issues with the FMS link to SIMS.

(Settings for that can be found in FMS --> Tools --> MIS Settings)
