RM CC4.5 Workstation Compatiblity Check

Hi,

 

I support a primary school part time (2 hours a week)

They are looking to upgrade from CC4.2 to CC4.5 and workstations upgraded from XP to Win7 SP1.

 

Is there any RM tools to check if a workstation is CC4.5 compatible?

Or would the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor tool be the best way?

 

All the workstations are official RM workstations.

 

My knowledge of RM CC4 is limited but appreciate any advice.

As long as they can run Windows 7, you'll generally be fine. CC4.x is more the server side (server O/S), the clients just run Windows and the RM software. You'd be better checking that the server can handle the new O/S.

As stated above, if they can run windows 7 they should be fine. You'll need to make sure you've got the windows 7 drivers applied to the build templates unless you're planning to smart client them.
