AirPlay Streaming from iPad to Apple TV Problem

Hi all,

 

I'm having an issue streaming video from the Photos app on iPad to my Apple TV.

 

Mirroring works fine, as does displaying photos, but when I try to stream a video most of the time it just comes up with a loading wheel and does nothing. The iPad says "playing video on Apple TV" but the video never starts. We have a number of other Apple TVs on the same network which work fine. I've updated both the iPad and Apple TV to the latest version and the wireless on the iPad and ethernet on the Apple TV doesn't appear to have any issues.

 

I've tried a factory reset as well but it's still not working.

 

Can anyone shed any light on it?

What are the Apple TVs connected to, a projector? If so how are they connected. I experienced this problem before and it was because I had used a HDMI to VGA converter to connect it to the projector, since the projector I was using didn't have a HDMI in. I would either get the never ending spinning wheel or an error about HDCP.

They're connected to a TV via HDMI cable. Thanks for the tip off though.
