Home Access Plus - Headache :(

Hi All,

 

first of all I would like to say home access plus looks a great piece of software

 

My network manager is currently setting up home access in our school, we have hit a brick wall here. We keep receiving error messages when logging in automatically (picture attached called error 1.0). After clicking "ok" a few times another message appears (picture attached called error 2).

 

It's to do with windows authentication and Kerberos.. and were not sure what the error is from, maybe it needs delegation or spn's?

 

We are not sure what to do next - we have also added the error log file(called error).

 

Anyway help would be much appreciated,

Which authentication system are you using?

 

Forms or Windows?

 

Internal SSO (Kerberos) is part of Forms.

We are using windows authentication. My network manager has said he followed the video from YouTube but we are using the new version (the YouTube video is running version 9).

We did enable Kerberos again and its worked My network manager said this was turned on yesterday but didn't work... he did restart the web service maybe that helped?

 

We have another question.. Do users need to log in again once you open the page or can we enable some automatic log in? (internal access - we may set the home access to the homepage in IE).

If you are just using Windows, then no, but if you are using the kerberos SSO then you do to access my files but other areas just work. It will come up with the auto prompt because it's auto logged on to warn that accessing my files has been disabled.

 

To stop the auto logon message edit ~/scripts/hap.web.js.js

 

Look for

change it to
