MrKJLS Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Okay (the problem is with my home desktop), the issue is when I click on a taskbar or desktop shortcut Windows explorer crashes. The "Windows Explorer has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem," then windows restarts explorer then it crash's again. The last item what was installed was the Visual Studio 2013 Professional Update 2. Then after the reboot it has kinda gone down hill from that. Strangly the same Roll-up for VS 13 was installed on my laptop and no issue has occurred. Cheers Kieran
MrKJLS Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 Found the issue. The account was corrupted. Damn It. Kieran
Michael Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 For your reference, a good place to start is Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking to determine whether it's a Windows specific issue or an application or service causing explorer to crash. Glad you got to the bottom of the issue

Glad you got to the bottom of the issue I know, I should of booted into safe mode. But I've had a stressful day at school (English Language Exam, then Maths for 3 hours). It's nice to get home with kinda working PC *sigh*
