Gonna try to get on the next fairly light EN PvE server, I'd rather be on PvP than be on a server with a queue atm.

This game is on my watch-list at the moment. Once the initial rush cools down and people get settled I might try it.

I got myself into the beta of it when IGN gave out free keys - I can't say I was overly impressed with it. I'm still in touch with a lot of the guys I used to play Aion with and they're mad for it..

I'd try it some more, if it weren't at cost.. But it just didn't 'grab' me.

I ended up rolling Dom on Archon again, I dunno what it was, but Exile just didn't grab me as much.

 

Official launch today, I'm expecting servers to be a leeeeeeetle bit full.

Yeah, You'd think that'd be as bad as it's going to get as you'd expect people who want the game to have pre-ordered for the early access, but I have a feeling tonight is going to be a little bit busy.

 

Both of my servers were low when I created on them, Zhur's now High-Full, Archon was Medium-High last night. I just jump to any server that does haven't a queue and use it as an excuse to make a new class / race / faction / path combo.

Well, a friend sent me a 7 day guest pass and I joined them on Lightspire Exiles with an Aurin Spellslinger. I have to admit, I am surprised I was able to get in so quickly for a launch day! Surprisingly smooth with no crashes, no server queue and only one connection failure on the server select screen which didn't boot me out the whole game.

 

The start is still quite nasty but I've been told to hang in there until I am past the early levels as it gets better. I have 7 free days so might as well make the most of them!

Tempted.. It does look good. I think maybe the weekend just wasn't enough for it to 'take hold' of me.. Maybe I'm just not used to its cartoony style (never really been a WoW fan).. Or maybe it's just not for me?

 

How long are they valid for*? I'm moving house on Saturday so I won't really get to use it instantly. If they're limited-time-only, best give it to someone that'll get more use of it

Tried the PvP last night, that was fun.

 

Had three stalkers chasing me for a good 2/3 minutes while I just leapt around like a mad man from healer to healer. (there's a lot of stalkers out there..)

 

Think I've finally settled on Archon Dominion, no queues and pretty fairly populated. Time for me to get a character past level 15

got my mount last night and very happy with it and the fact i can customize it is AWESOME and my house i love the fact that its yours and people can go and do farming for me XD

I've got my house on Zhur, just the standard rocket at the minute, one level off of unlocking it on Archon, so I'll get that tonight (if I bother going to Illium, trying to completely finish every zone, challenges, lore etc)

 

I like the crafting system a lot though, pretty interesting compared to the simpler ones like WoW and SWTOR.

Hmm could it be because I am on trial account? Not sure, still 50/50 about buying the game!

That'll be it, you only have about a third of the feature set on trial.

I bought this, still in the initial quests! Not really had much chance to play it really! Looking forward to playing it though, as they seem to have put some thought into the questing for single players.
