Hello, typical last day of half term and the main Citrix Server decided to play up again.

I am having the current issues with two services:

  • Citrix Licensing
  • Citrix Independent Management Architecture

Have both now logged in as a "Local Service", Citrix Licensing is switching between "Starting" and "Started" States.

Getting these two messages in event view like 15 every second.

Error Event ID: 7031 (Service Control Manager Eventlog Provider)

The Citrix Licensing service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: Restart the service.

Information Event ID: 7036 (Service Control Manager Eventlog Provider)

The Citrix Licensing Service has entered the running state.

(It keeps repeating these same two reports over and over.)

Have tried to delete those two files from the Licensing folder, but they are not regenerating like normal due to service not starting correctly.

When trying to start the Citrix Independent Management Architecture, I get this error message: http://i.imgur.com/GeQixBO.png

Any help would be very helpful as really need this server working for Monday!

Hey,

I have tried that, regarding the

"Open Regedt32.exe and grant Full Control rights to the local Administrators group on the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\IMA\Data"

I can only see "http://i.imgur.com/LBTpzBt.png" when trying to do that.

I have tried it via the Login Part, and it accepts the account "NT AUTHORITY\LocalService", but does not come up with the popup for "The account has been granted the Logon as a Service". http://i.imgur.com/u7lnw9p.png With what I have done, I am still getting the same error when trying to start the service.

Seems like the server is having a mind of its own currently.

We encountered a similar problem with our old XenApp 5 Server server where the IMA would just continue to fail everytime it was started up, in the end we had to uninstall the licensing server software and re-install it, then re-license everything backup.
