Hi,

I've done a search for this and tried the steps but not managed to get anywhere.

I've got a 2012 file server and all machines running Win 7.

All the mapped drives (apart from home directory) are mapped via logon script. They work fine.

The home directory path is set via AD.

This one has the green sync symbol next to it it Computer. Occasionally this is offline and pupils access a cached copy of there work (all on desktops rather than laptops).

Is there a way to turn it off? I've set it in GP under User config and Computer config but think those settings are for 2003 / xp only

Thanks

Windows 7 offline I think it's a services called offline files you need to disable this. This can be done in gpo under computer configuration, policies, windows settings, security settings, system services, offline files startup set to disabled.
