Backup SQL 2005 with BackupAssist - Eror Messages grr

I'm trying to backup SQL 2005 using BackupAssist.

 

If I try from a remote server everything seems to go fine but in the morning I find the following error in BackupAssist:

 

BA1503 A connection could not be made to the SQL Server instance - it could be unavailable or authentication details may have changed.

 

 

If I try with a locally installed BackupAssist then when I've searched for the SQL Servers and come to connect I get the following error:

 

The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. [CLIENT: ]

 

The only help I've found on Google for that says put it into Mixed Mode Configuration, but it already is.
