XIBO - Image Slideshows

Hi everyone,

 

I am new to XIBO but am enjoying playing with it so far. I was wondering what the best way is to create an image slideshow. I am aware we can create one in PowerPoint but wondered if there was an easier way for end users.

you can create image slideshows using Flash. just google flash slideshow makers.

I have done this when I used Xibo but cant remember which program I used to create them.

If you use Flickr, or are able, you can embed the slideshows it produces in a webpage.

I use the following on my xibo install - HowTo

 

It just sits in my htdocs folder on the server, populate the images folder within that and in xibo layout use embed website. Does it all for you, you can even share the image store folder for staff to add new photos.

I like to put together slideshows in something like Movie Maker, Premier, that kind of thing, then export it out as an MP4 and then insert the video into a layout. It works well for us, it's just a bit of a pain when you need to remove or add another image to a slideshow.
