Islington Council’s Schools’ ICT team provides comprehensive support packages for schools covering all aspects of ICT for teaching, learning and school administration. We are seeking new staff to support the expanding area of our service providing technical support to primary schools and other education settings in Islington.

 

You will work as part of a team of mobile engineers, providing first line technical support directly onsite at a number of schools across the week as well as taking on duties across the wider service. The majority of the work is within a Microsoft Windows environment, but the increasing diversity of school ICT means that experience with iOS, OSX or Android would be an advantage.

 

As importantly as qualification and/ or relevant experience, the successful candidates will be disciplined, self-motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to relate to school staff, other clients and colleagues.
