App-V 5.0

I'm not looking to discuss whether I need to virtualize this program in this thread

 

I was sequencing with App-V 5.0 SP2 sequencer windirstat and I thought I'd include litedirstat in the same package, so I just copied the 2 addtional litedirstat files litedirstat.exe and shfolder.dll into the windirstat folder after installing windirstat and created a shortcut on the desktop pointing to litedirstat.exe

 

Windirstat runs fine and when I select the G:\ drive I want to scan with litedirstat it scans no problem. However, when I try to run litedirstat it crashes. It crashes with the arguments G:\, %HOMESHARE% and no argument.

 

I've tried sequencing on it's own with similar failure. The 2 xml and 1 dmp file provided mean very little to me...

 

As anyone else tried to sequence litedirstat in App-V 5.0 and succeeded?

I dont have access to appv currently but I think take a look and have a think.

Just wanted to update and say I can't for the life of me figure out why, but this is now working under App-V 5 using the originally sequenced version... maybe SP3 fixed the issue.
