Jobos Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Anyone got IE 11 working with Sims as my schools are still running IE 9 and I'm looking to upgrade over the summer but don't want to break Sims.
Jobos Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 Yes the roadmap on Supportnet doesn't list IE11 and our LA doesn't have a date when it will be supported either. I rarely use Sims apart from running an export of student names from time to time but can't see a reason why Sims would break if I installed IE11.
speckytecky Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Crikey, just gets more and more complicated with every update doesn't it. IE 11 is getting picked up and rolled out with automatic updates now. Or at least it is in my school. We blocked IE 10 but so far 11 seems to be behaving.
Marci Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 SIMS itself - no issues. SLG - compatibility mode fiddling required for us to get entering Behaviour / Achievements working properly (god knows how parents are coping, as I know full well we still have parents out there running IE6). SupportNet - royally b0rked on IE11, Safari (latest), and latest Chrome (on OSX). Firefox seems to be the only browser that'll work for sure there.
