neonetman Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 We've just rolled out Exchange server 2010 here, and are trying top get Exchange to add an automatic signature to all emails. We've added a transport rule to append the signature, including dynamic entries for name, job title etc so all is good on that front. The problem we have is if we reply to an email, the appended signature goes right at the bottom below all the text, rather than at the end of the new text and before the text of the email we're replying to. Can anyone suggest any method of automatically applying a corporate signature that puts it in the correct place.
pantscat Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 You've found the issue with it. At present there's no way to make it put the signature in the "correct" place - it'll simply append it to the end of the email. Your options are to either use a 3rd party tool, or add an exception to the transport rule so that it doesn't add a signature if the subject line contains "re:" or "fw:"...
neonetman Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 Do you have any recommendations for 3rd party tools?
pantscat Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I've not used any personally - but there's quite a good list here: Email Signatures :: Software :: MSExchange.org
