genesis Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Hi We use windows 2012 DCs and have implemented remote desktop for the staff to work from Home. Iam planning to implement Identity guard. I have seen this in some corporate organisation. They give the Remote desktop access to their staff and a USB key and this generates diffferent numbers , If they have to sucessfully login they will have to use their user name and password and the ID which is genetrated by the identity guard key. Please suggest if any one had implemented a RDP for staff. Is this a good idea or is there any other way to implement this. Many thanks
genesis Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 I don't think it is through VPN. It is through a Https:\\remote.mywork.co.uk link
plexer Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 That link doesn't work for me there are however loads of options for 2 factor security on your rdp and machine connections: DUALShield 2FA for Windows logon Terminal Services and RDP Ben
kearton Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Are you going to be using these, @genesis? http://www.entrust.com/products/usb-tokens/ Where are you getting them from and how much will the system cost please?
