FN-GM Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the charms bar in Windows 8 via group policy. Everything I have seen on the net only shows the manual way and via registry. I have a look and can't see the setting. Thanks
smithson83 Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Has anyone got any further on this? I'm just getting round to sorting a GP out for out kids laptops, but for the life of me I cant figure out how to stop the darlings from turning off the wireless -I have managed to disable the Top/Bottom right corners(albeit manually via Clasic Shell, still testing), but can still Win+C to get to the charms and power off the wireless. -I can't seems to script it back on (as it's not disabled, just not connected) Or even better, has anyone managed to remove "Settings" from the Charm Bar?

smithson83 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Nope, I gave up on Windows 8. Too many issues. Looking forward to Windows 10
