[sims] 1st May blocked out

Hi,

Our attendance office has just emailed asking why Thursday the 1st of May is blocked out in SIMS register. I've had a look and she is correct in that all the classes have a hash mark already in place. Is this because SIMS presumes it's a day off? Am I ok to get the teachers to just over ride this when doing the register as normal tomorrow?

The likelihood is your timetable manager has blocked May the first as a school day in the initial holiday dates of the build. It should be easy just to pop into the school calendar and open thursday, and close monday, assuming you have the correct permissions.
