[android] exchange proxy on android with smoothwall

A colleague has just presented me with an android phone which can't connect to the exchange server in school, but works fine at home.

 

The fact that it connects ok from outside telsl me that his mail set up is fine. The fact that it doesn't work inside suggests that it is a proxy settings problem.

 

for other devices (IOS) I use a proxy.pac to set things up. I'm told that android doesn't support that.

 

What do I do folks!

 

Any help appreciated.
