Wifi Signal Booster

Hi all,

 

I have a wifi network set up in a school however the signal does not reach one of the class rooms, can anyone recommend a good signal booster please?

Before I go ahead and recommend a signal booster, what is your current set up? Is there space to have a network cable ran to the room and a wifi point set up?

Then he wouldn't need a booster as he would just be extending the wifi network?

We currently have 2 routers however the signal does not reach the far end of the school. Unfortunately we do not have enough budget to get someone in to run a cable all the way from one end of the school to the other plus it would be a bit of hassle and disruption if you get what I mean?

You say that you have two routers. Do you mean Access Points? Depending on the system you have a number of options;

High gain external antenna Wireless Antenna & High Gain Antennas (Wireless-N ...

Wireless connection to another AP which could be positioned where the signal starts to fade

Powerline adapter with wireless on the receiving end LINK

Extend the cabled run from the last AP in the line to a more suitable position for the coverage requirement.
