thegrassisgreener Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 when performing CHKDSK I get the following errors: File Record Segment 6800 is unreadable File Record Segment 6801 is unreadable File Record Segment 6802 is unreadable File Record Segment 6803 is unreadable ideas anyone?
mac_shinobi Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 what switch are you using with chkdsk ? You tried chkdsk /r Sounds like your hard drive may have bad blocks / sectors or is on its way out, that or you need to use an 80 pin IDE cable unless your hard drive is SATA.
