Ardalan Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Hi All, Sorry if im in the wrong page, my first post. I have just started working in a high school and the Heads PA has just informed me that every time she deletes an email from her shared account which is with the head, it deletes on her side but in the heads inbox. is there a way that the emails also delete from his inbox. we use Outlook 2013. any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Ardalan
Dkeen94 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Surely this is just one mailbox with PA having full access permissions granted on it? Are they doing it on a computer or mobile device?
jamesreedersmith Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Is it two mailboxes with a distribution group delivering to both mailboxes.
Ardalan Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 you are right it is just a pa who has access to his mailbox which is shared but for some reason it does not sync when she delete any emails
glennda Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 If you are using Pop3 it will do that, You are actually downloading a copy to each machine and deleting it off the machine and not off the server. Hence why it still appears on the other machine. Is you email provider using hosted exchange or different? If exchange you would need to use RPC over HTTP to get this to work. 1
