Wireless G - Is this about right for download / upload speeds?

We just got a 76mb fibre connection installed for our wireless network. It roughly hits this on a wired connection, on our Bluesocket Wireless G routers (They're fairly old!) the wireless client (iPhone 5) can get between 20-23mb download and about 19mb upload (This is in line with the 19.5mb theoretical maximum upload speed on the fibre package).

 

Is this about right? As I've been reading around and found Wireless G operates in half duplex mode so it would be around right?

this is correct I would usually expect g to do about 22mbps at best
