Check that the HAP.AD dll exists in the bin folder.

If you install HAP+ into the root it can stop the rdweb folder working correctly, always best to install it into a sub folder and use a http redirect

Hi Nick

thanks for the quick reply.

Hap is installed in a folder called "HAP" in the wwwroot folder. the HAP.AD.dll is in the bin folder. But there is not a rdweb folder in HAP folder.

Ok, delete C:\inetpub\wwwroot\web.config

I have deleted the contents of HAP folder in wwwroot and delete the application and application pool from IIS. I then followed the instructions for the adding the bindings etc. I have then configured setup.aspx and I can log into HAP. I get this message > Could not find file 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\hap\App_Data\Bookings.xml'.

when I click on remoteapps I still get this error

You've not set hap up correctly there

is a perfect sign that something isn't right, it's finding stuff to do with HAP in the web.config file in the root, not in the hap folder

Hi Nick

just to let you know I think that the upgrade broke my remote apps. I cant get on them at all. looks like a full re-build is in order. I also seem to have an issue when I log in I get this message > Could not find file 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\hap\App_Data\Bookings.xml'.
