Hi all,

Bit of an odd one here.

We're recently had a media server setup that allows us to stream live TV channels over the network via multicasting. Over the wired infrastructure it works fine, it also works fine over the Wi-Fi too (albeit slow in places). I'm coming up against an odd problem on one particular model of laptop, it's an HP Probook 6560b. For some reason the wireless interface isn't sending a join request to the multicast group, therefore no streamed TV.

The wireless adapter used it a Broadcom 4313GN, I have the latest driver installed. I'll admit that the whole troubleshooting of multicasting isn't my 'bag', but I've managed to stumble my way through the majority so far.

I wondered if there was anyone that could offer any suggestions.

Like I said earlier, I have managed to track join messages via Wireshark and filtering on IGMP traffic for wired, wireless is just a no go for some reason. Though annoyingly the laptop at the side of me, a Dell Vostro 3560 works absolutely fine.
