LearnPads and Ruckus Wireless

Is anyone using LearnPads and Ruckus Wireless. We are having issues with connection to the LearnPad servers and with 'Not in Range' errors. A quick toggle of the wireless switch and the LearnPad connects to the Ruckus wireless again, but problems remain with connection to the LearnPad Servers. The seem to drop off the wireless when the screen timeout kicks in, then some connect automatically again but some show the 'not in range' error. Any advise appriciated - thanks

You haven't got the tablets set to power down the wifi when the screen goes off have you?

Nope, In advanced settings 'Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep' - Always is set.

Oh well worth a go, for what its worth we had a few of them for a couple of weeks on trial with our Ruckus system and didn't come across any problems. Is your Ruckus firmware up to date?

We are using an ZD1000 (now EOL), but its firmware is fully patched to the latest version possible 9.3.4
