nick3young Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Hi All, I have noticed in vCenter's performance monitor that our virtual servers' CPU and memory usage has been spiking wildly over the past month or so. Here is an example of one of the graphs: All of 10 of our virtual servers, spread across two separate hosts, look similar to this. I have been on to each server and checked the obvious - task manager and event viewer, but there is nothing obvious. We haven't introduced anything new to the network over the past month. Could anyone give me any guidance on where to start to troubleshoot this please? I'd love to know what is causing this... Thanks Nick
ICT_Pro Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Hi Check the spikes pattern, are they every day same time and duration? Check your each VM performance monitor on that time. When you found the VM than check what is running on that VM on spikes time. Regards
