Some of the lecturers like to use the page extender feature but they have noticed that when they use it some "elements" disappear.

If you watch from 4:50 you will see the cross from the letter "t" (word "but") disappear, this also happens on equals signs, they become a minus and a plus sign would also become a minus. You can imagine this is quite annoying for the maths lecturers.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7474878/rec.avi At about 5:05 the lecturer circles the word so you can see it better. Also at 5:50 the word "height"

The Activinspire version is 1.7.62196 PC's are Windows XP Pro SP3 and Win 7 Pro SP1

Gaz,

I have looked at the video and though I cannot confirm, I suspect that the lecturer is using Pen Width 0. We have got a current issue open when pen width 0 is used in that some annotations will vanish when using page extender.

The workaround at the moment is to use Pen width 2. Could you have them try this?

Thank you

I just thought I would update this thread with what the lecturers have experienced so far. They are now using "2" and have not seen the annotations disappear but they are still keeping an eye out for it.

If using "2" is the work around, it wouldn't really be acceptable. The lecturers would like to use width "0" as it is better for writing mathematical equations. Are Promethean actively working on a fix?
