Intel DH61WW Wont Start Netork Driver After BIOS Update.

I have a batch of stone computers with these motherboards inside. Im doing a bios update on these computers.

 

There sitting on 0048 currently and when i flash them to 0099 i lose all the drivers,

 

Computer reinstalls drivers (there alot) and it dosnt install the Intel 82579V driver. I get device can not start (10)

 

Ive downloaded lastest drivers from intel and still no luck? Anyone with any ideas?

 

I dont want to re-image these computers just to fix a simple problem with the network card.

Scrap that. Think i fixed it. Seems a long way around it but it works.

Update Inf & Mei First Before Bios Upgrade

Run Bios Update 0099 From Post

Logon On As Local Admin

Let It Install All Hardware (Computer Will Think It All New)

Uninstall Network Driver From Add/Remove Programes

Reboot Computer

Install Lastest Driver From Memory Stick

Run Bios Update 0120 From Post

Logon On As Local Admin To Check Network Driver (Should Be Working Now)

Install Lastest Grpahics Driver

Hmm - will keep an eye on that with our stones (same motherboard). I remember having to fiddle with the MEI on one of them for some reason, perhaps it was the same thing.

I dont know if that needs updating. But i thought i might aswell do the whole lot.

 

We do have the odd stone computer which wont start up. Just the blue light on the front, it flashes every few seconds. (its not sleeping)
