soveryapt Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Just been handed a new piece of software by a member of staff to help support a pupil in the school and I've just read the spec. Looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go to Win 95 AND upgrade all the RAM .. grrr .. lol .. Andy
featured_spectre Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Oddly, it may not work on Windows 7. You could get away with XP.

tmcd35 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Oddly, it may not work on Windows 7. You could get away with XP. Pah - too easy! Get it running under Windows 8.1 64bit! Run Windows 95 in a Bochs emulation...
soveryapt Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 Oddly, it may not work on Windows 7. You could get away with XP. Oh I know, I've had this before .. I just love it when staff come with "new" software they've had recommended by someone .. what do they mean it wont work with windows 3.1? absurd! And indeed, poor 3.1 .. I mean, just because they're dropping the support for XP doesn't mean they should leave 3.1 out in the dark huh! lol ..
sonofsanta Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 32MB of RAM? But 640k ought to be enough for anyone! 4
visioN Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 What is the actual software called? Surely there is a newer alternative?!
