Millgate Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Hi guys, This one is a bit random but I get asked for projector remotes quite often. The originals are like rocking horse excrement so I always recommend this universal one Midwich Ltd - Gyration GYRVP3720 (GYRVP3720) Email/PM me if you'd like prices etc Luke
DaveJ2717uk Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Does it do the promethean est-p1? As I can't see promethean in the list on projectors supported. Will keep in mind if it does.
Andrew_C Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 If I was replacing projector remotes, I'd be looking to install these. Stops the b******s walking off with them! OK, so a bit more cash up front, but fixed forever(ish). 1
6Foot2 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 How much are they? ...Email/PM me if you'd like prices etc Luke Seems like that covers things.

Oddbod Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) The IT dept got remote cages for the teaching rooms (they can't lose the remotes if they're locked to the wall) and the tech guys carried three common remotes for the projectors. I bought the re adapter for the iPad, iTouch & iPhone (£35 from http://www.newkinetix.com/) and discarded the remotes entirely. With a library of over 5000 remote configurations and the ability to do room scripting, I'm covered for all the new screens, data projectors, sound systems - even the air conditioning. Plug the infrared dongle into the iPad then download the app. Edited March 12, 2014 by Oddbod
