Hey guys

 

when trying to run a report we have run many times before we get this

nope no new changes to hardware or software. report working last week...

 

i am thinking the whole turn it on and off at the end of the day. the error is likey to server side rather than client ?

Seriously? Could be something else, FMS is well known for having weird errors, but collation errors can be nasty. Worth a call to your LA\Capita. FMS isn't one of those systems that you can get away with date issues. Make sure you update the post once you've got it resolved.

Have you had any updates in the meantime? That collation fault if normally a coding error. The code should have DATABASE_DEFAULT around the collation "=" operator. Obviously you can't change that.

 

It might be worth checking that your ODBC drivers are up-to-date.

Ok once the users are off I will check everything and do a server reboot. Hope it's one of those ones that go away.
