[ms office - 2010] Mandatory Profile not saving changes in Outlook Ribbon

Hi all,

 

Here is a bit of a mind bender. Our admin staff are in need of a template which has been built. We have given them this by creating a new group on the Home ribbon, with a macro inside it which opens the email template when clicked. All of this works a dream.

 

Here's the problem, as soon as they log off and back on, it's gone. We have tried to find where the changes are saved to as far as a path goes, but no luck. We can't find them anywhere.

 

If anyone has come across this please let me know, otherwise, if you have a fix that would be even better

I think this might be what you are looking for;

 

There is a setting that allows roaming of user customisations of the ribbon, see here for the method.
