Came in this morning and Moodle won't work internally using IE but Chrome/Firefox OK.

 

Had an email from a teacher last night to say they could nt access the VLE from home so came in today and raised a support call with webanywhere. They say it's working fine now externally URL is http://balcarraslearning.com/

 

Internally it's ONLY working on chrome and firefox, chrome is only paritally rolled out around the school so anyone with only IE cannot get on the VLE...

 

I've rebooted our DNS/DHCP server which has made no difference.

 

I can obviously ping the internal moodle IP.

 

I've tried IE with no add-ons and in compatibility mode and still nothing.

 

Any ideas?

Do you run a proxy? if so try adding the internal address to the proxy exceptions and see what effect that has.

Well webanywhere rebooted out moodle box and everything is now fine
