sparkeh Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 So I went to add a YouTube video to a playlist so it was accessible in school and the option to add to a playlist is gone! Weird thing is that if I use my personal account rather than school admin account the option is there! Any one else had this or any ideas what's going on?
TechMonkey Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I've still got this, but my account isn't restricted to youTube for Education. I have to click "Add to" which is to the right of the About button and then get my list of playlists.
localzuk Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I've been adding things to playlists all day, its there via the 'Add to' button for me.
sparkeh Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) Ok here is what I get with my personal account Here is what I get with school admin account Edited February 26, 2014 by sparkeh
localzuk Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I only ever see that when it hasn't actually logged in - ie. an unauthorised user... However, if the video is playing, that means you have to be logged in?! I'm at a bit of a loss on that one!
sparkeh Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Ok well its appears that this only happens on my machine. Can't replicate it on any other machine, just mine
Gaz Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Does that school admin account have unrestricted youtube access? I wasn't aware that you could even use the add to button in youtube edu. I thought you had to copy and paste the link into the play list when you add it in.
