featured_spectre Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I have been reading up on reviews of Wireless AC equipment and soon to be running my own test again on a variety of platforms. I am not 100% certain here, but it seems that Ruckus however seem to be overboasting their tech compared to others. Whilst most state that the tech allows a theoretical max of 1.3Gbps, Ruckus have said they achieve speeds up to 7Gbps (802.11ac | Ruckus Wireless, Inc. < found here). Now am I misreading this or are they genuinely saying they have hit that speed on wifi, if so, how have they done this? @CPLTD @Net-Ctrl can you shed any light?

Net-Ctrl Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Hello, As @Domino and @sparkeh have said they're saying that the max data rate could be near 7Gbps (phase 2), at phase 1 you will be looking at a theoretical max of 1.3Gbps. We are holding a webinar with Ruckus and their technical director in EMEA tomorrow at 10.30 and he will talking about 11AC, free to attend, all you need to do is register.
