Russell83uk Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Hello, I was wondering if anyone else is using WCBS PASS. We are on Version 3.8.0.0 we have been in contact with WCBS support regarding this matter but unable to get it resolved. We are getting the following error message when most users are accessing the report builder Pass > Administration > Reports > Report Builder We have followed the WCBS supplied install instructions and WCBS even uninstalled the SQL native client and reinstalled to no joy. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
NickPerry Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 We had the same problem, it was fixed by installing the SQL Backwards Compatibility patch, the SQL 2008 client install document from WCBS has the details, see page 8

NickPerry Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Hi, We did have similar problems with some of our users losing connection to PASS, but I don't have the exact details of the error messages. This issue was a network one, with a section of network the users were on becoming disconnected from the network, caused by a faulty internet cable. We replaced the cable which cured the problem. Your problem sounds more like an issue at the server end with either the PASS losing network connection or the something happening on the server. We found that the interruption was intermittent but PASS was more susceptible to interruption. compared to applications like Outlook that were able to reconnect when PASS couldn't. Hope this helps
