Windows Licensing

Hi All,

might seem a really obvious question but I'm a bit confused.

If a PC was bought and it originally had windows 7 on it, but it has been downgraded to windows XP, do we have to buy new Win 7 licenses to be able to put Win 7 back on it?

or is it just a case of a clean install of Windows 7 as it was licensed originally?

You can clean install the original Windows 7 so long as you have the original OEM/restore disks and a Windows 7 CoA on the case.
