Corrupt VHDX

Hi all, I am currently building some new servers based on Hyper-V one of which is a new print server. All was fine when I left work on Friday but this morning the virtual machine has stopped and is saying that the VHDX (ie the C: drive) is corrupted. I suspect due to the storms there may have been some power fluctuations over the weekend. However I cant find any way of repairing this issue, also is this common with VHDX's, slightest power interruption and the whole thing becomes unusable?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never heard of a corrupted VHDX, have you tried any other tools like disk manager in Windows to mount the drive and take a look/possibly run chkdsk. Failing that do you have a backup?

No, in the end i gave up with Hyper-V all together and back using VMware now. I find it much more logical to use.
