HP 2510 and HP 5120 Stacking

How would you stack an HP 2510 and HP 5120EI? It seems the 5120 uses IRF whereas the 2510 is a ProCurve series and I can't seem to find any information on whether or not they're compatible.

Most provision procurves support "stacking" as a management tool only, for management with a single IP.

The 5120 is a 3com comware device and the only Provision procurves that support backplain stacking are the 3800s (which only stack with other 3800s).

 

So the short answer is you can't.

Thanks for the response. That's what I was thinking after reading around but I wanted to be sure before scrapping the idea.
