Is there a UK based e-mail account provided?

I'm trying to find a UK based e-mail account provided for my personal account.

 

I know I will most likely have to pay, but I don't like to think of all my personal details sitting on some server in a far away place.

 

Call me paranoid.

 

I have been looking on the internet but can't find a company which only has servers within the UK.

Heart Internet are a UK based company and very helpful. Datacentres are based in the UK (Heart Internet UK Data Centres) so seems to fit the bill for you.

I'd probably be looking at web hosting companies that will also host your email. There must be thousands in the uk - but I use Vidahost.

It looks like Yahoo services will be operating out of Dublin, if that's any good to you. Yahoo Mail is excellent.

With yahoo operating out of Dublin, doesn't mine the mail servers are in Dublin. Personal I wouldn't use them after yahoo mail keeps getting hacked!

Hi, I've used virtualnames. Co.uk and been happy with them. I think they are in Dorset assuming they haven't Feb washed away. ..
