GoodheadDC Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 our desktops dont have audio play back devices. Now youtube wont play. If i install virtual audio cable utility it then works fine. This is an issue we have with playback of clickview videos too. Has any one created an msi of this utility for deployment? virtual audio cable
hellgate24 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Don't know if the same applies in your situation, but we had a similar issue with some of our Optiplex 390 desktops not playing back Youtube video's after updating to IE9. They had onboard soundcards, but no speakers/headphones connected. After I updated the audio driver Windows associated a playback device with the sound card and this resolved the issue.
free780 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 This has appeared in many threads. There is a reg key enabledynamicdevices I think. You can disable it. Do a search to find it
